Since getting engaged in xxx, Stephanie & Jason from Brisbane (Australia) dreamt of a wedding abroad, with only a select few in a very romantic setting. Steph’s family has German roots, so coming home was always an option for their dream wedding. They contacted us at Mountain Elopements to ask for our support in organising their big day. We were over the moon to accompany the gorgeous couple and fulfil their elopement dream in Europe.
First and foremost, we had to find the perfect location. In one of our many Skype calls, the couple shared that their ideal location would be a lake with a dramatic mountain backdrop surrounded by dreamy woods or meadows, if possible, in Germany. We instantly had the perfect spot in mind: Lake Eibsee in Bavaria, close to Germany’s highest peak, Zugspitze. Once the location had been decided, things moved along very quickly. Flights and hotels were booked, the dress altered, and everyone was getting ready for the big day.
As the big day approached the conditions couldn’t have been more perfect. The sun greeted us as we took the cable car up the mountain for the elopement shoot, before heading down to the gorgeous mountain lake, shimmering in all greens and blues, to meet the closest family and to exchange vows. No eyes stayed dry as the lovers emotionally declared each other endless love, kindness and support for the rest of forever. Having seen more than xxx weddings in our time, even for us this was a tear-jerking moment.
“We’re so grateful for Tanja & Andi’s support, without their helpful tips none of this would have been possible. We truly had the perfect elopement day and we enjoyed every second of it.”
To celebrate the newly-weds the family headed out for an intimate dinner and quaint celebrations. We wish Stephanie & Jason all the happiness in the world for many years to come.
